mmh indeedseems pretty powerful, but let's wait for the benchmarks eh?
that would be pretty ogThe 1070 is supposedly faster than the titan x, and cheaper, same with the 1080, but more expensive. I have a feeling Nvidia is going to create a Pascal Titan in the near future, as I said, its just a hunch.
very likely, but as usual it'll be out of reach of normal people's budget. The 1070 is supposedly faster than the titan x, and cheaper, same with the 1080, but more expensive. I have a feeling Nvidia is going to create a Pascal Titan in the near future, as I said, its just a hunch.
same here, but its like 600$ for a 1070,[DOUBLEPOST=1462994192][/DOUBLEPOST]I'm just wondering how they will compare to my GTX 960, which I bought around 2 months ago or so... mistake?
estimated prices were like 800$ for 1080 600$ for 1070 or something for reference cards[DOUBLEPOST=1462994249][/DOUBLEPOST]The GTX 1080 will cost $699 (around £580 including VAT) in Founders specification, while third-party manufacturers will vary, although it’s expected the cheapest will cost $599 (around £500 including VAT). Founders Edition cards will start shipping on May 27th. The GTX 1070, meanwhile, will be priced at $449 (around £391 inc VAT) in Founders spec, while third parties are expected to start from $379 (around £314 inc VAT). Founder Edition cards will start shipping on June 10th.very likely, but as usual it'll be out of reach of normal people's budget.
dang lucky, i may resell my 970 and buy a 1080well, I sure am glad I waited with buying a video card
as soon as prices drop I'll be able to afford a half-decent video card
not for next-gen anymore. The 740 is nowhere near powerful enough to run Witcher III on high settings and decent fps. A 970 would be enough though. In my opinion, I think having a powerful graphics card like the Titan X for example is not necessary. My reason is you could run great games with the Geforce GT 740 for example which is about $100.
I want to save for the 1080 tbhI'd buy the 1070 considering it is in my price range.
technically, you'd be able to run all games on max, you cant do that with all gpusThe 1080 has twice to power of a Titan X and nearly equal price. However, I'd stay with the 1070. 1080 is still a big price to deal with for me. The 1070, as I have read, is slightly better than the 980TI. I currently have a 960 gtx and it works fine for me. With that 1070 though, I'm debating on the 1070 or a 980TI. Really, we can only see up to 60fps so, really wouldn't matter, but it's fun to see how much your computer can handle![]()
True, but it's always fun knowing what your computer can hit.technically, you'd be able to run all games on max, you cant do that with all gpus
that sounded like a ddos threat, looolTrue, but it's always fun knowing what your computer can hit.
