EDIT: I'm glad everyone likes the banner. I think this is by far my best. If anyone else looks at this thread I would like you to answer the question: Would you buy one from me? And for how much?
Hello!
If you read in my shop I have temporarily stopped doing commissions to improve on my graphics.
I am still improving but I recently made this banner.
It was FIRST using a new rig and 4 new graphics packs.
There are 2 versions because I am indecisive on which looks better.

Try putting another lightroom for the text, and, try to match the colors between the text and the skin and all the other objects (background etc..), some different CC's can help you :)
You can find some really good CC's in the Cyrex EndDi Pack ;)
Oh and, for the backgrounds and all, make them maybe a little bit darker and with some cool particles, grunges, lights etc..to make it cooler and also lighter from the back (so you got dark & light together).

There is a Lightroom for the text.
Sparko wanted those colors for the text
I bought a hell of a lot of packs recently so don't really need anymore.
I like the idea for the background though.

It's great, I just wonder why people make the eyes sparkle tho. Like most banners when it's related to having a 3D model, I either see intense shadowing or eye sparkles. If you could help me understand this, that'd be great.

Well, this is a dark night scene as the user requested so I needed to use a lot of shadows to help portray that.
As for the eye sparkles, I don't know. A lot of graphics designers use them and I feel like people like them so I added them in the last 2 graphics I did. If a user doesn't want them they are really easy to remove.

Sorry for using this as an example, but it's the most prominent banner I can think of. I just don't know why there has to be a shadow in such a bright environment.

I love the chicken, but it seems like kind of something that you often see, except it's really well done and rendered out beautifully. Nice job! Maybe I'll do business with you in the near future :)

K, thought I was the only one who was a bit ticked off by the shadow. Anyways, great profile picture overall and I see nothing else to comment about... yet

I try to make my graphics unique but it falls down to the starting idea Sparko had (which I did like)
And for future reference, my shop is closed for 1-2 weeks just for me to try to get better at graphics (which I have done in my opinion)
