Opinions on Sponsored Slots?

How do you guys feel about them? Do you think they're effective? I was considering investing in one for my own server but I'd like to see what you guys think. Thanks.

I think they do bring some sort of traffic onto your server, but the prices that they currently go for are too much imo. I do think there are better things to put your money into and get better results.

You either have $100k+ to invest into sponsored slots, or you don't. Nowadays, successful servers have skipped voting sites entirely in favor of TikTok where servers like Mineclub have gained thousands of players off user-generated content. Considering the general decline of traditional Minecraft game modes like Factions and Prison, TikTok seems to be the way to go for newcomers looking to gain a player base.

Gotta have money. I just dropped 2.3k on 2 server slots and I’m getting around 200-300 joins a day. However, I have noticed the power of social media such as tiktok and Reddit. Also, a strong small community is the best way to start. Key word COMMUNITY.
