So, I have a budget of 1400$ to buy a new laptop and after looking around I found this one that seems pretty good to me.

This one:

The one linked is the 512gb version I think I will go with the 1TB one.

What do you guys think? Any other similar options? Any actual experiences with It?

Much better GPU and almost the same CPU for the similar price.[DOUBLEPOST=1586171573][/DOUBLEPOST]

The only bad thing is LED display but it's fine, the MSI has IPS but not a big deal, idk if you want to go for gpu go with this one if you want to go with sligtly better cpu go wih the other one. Your choice

Complete dogshit system with that price tag.

I'd either go with a custom build or a laptop with a rtx 2060/1660ti or better

1400 is usually the pricetag for a mid to high end custom built.
Probably could squeeze in a 5700xt and 3800x in that.

Like others have said, yeah, it's pretty expensive. My current laptop is the Lenovo Legion y545, which I got from Costco for $1000. It has a 144hz screen, 1660ti, i7-9750h, 16gb ram, 1tb hdd, 512gb m.2 ssd. So yeah, just shop around, you'll find better deals

I would highly suggest that if you were to go for a gaming laptop, go for an RTX graphics card. The RTX 2060 is not that much more expensive than a GTX 1060 or GTX 1660 compared to the big difference in performance.

There’s not a huge difference in performance, but the RTX is better. Also watch out for “Max-Q” or “mobile” GPUs because those are worse. Clock speeds are throttled down, etc. Although if you want a thinner laptop, it’d probably have a max q[DOUBLEPOST=1586515880][/DOUBLEPOST]I’ve heard about the acer Helios 300, it’s quite reputable if I remember correctly. Def better than the last one, but it seems it only comes with 512gb ssd, if that’s all you need then fine, but if you purchase it, you might want to get another ssd or hdd to extend storage

Definitely not the right choice of a laptop with a budget of such a price. As people have been saying, recommended to build your own or buy a custom one. Though the choice is up to you!
Best of luck
