Hi i need opinions on these pieces of artworks and if there worth building up a portfolio and selling them!

For the first picture I would suggest giving the hair more volume and making the eyes a bit smaller.
For the second one it's the eyes again, they seem a bit too far apart.

Yes, these are pretty good other than that. Love the shading.

The reason people prefer digital, is that it looks more professional and cleaner than a picture taken with a camera as it is created directly in the screen, but aside from that good luck!

How much are graphic tablets, which program, and which one do you recommend? xD.

With graphic tablets, the more popular brands are Wacom and Huion. I suggest taking a look at their sites to compare/find a graphic tablets that suits you the most.
As with drawing programs, free ones such as FireAlpaca, Gimp and Krita are good ones to start with. You could also take a look at paid ones such as Adobe Photoshop, Manga Studio and Paint Tool SAI.
