We got our first advertisement video over a month ago... and before we got the second video we still averaged 80-100 players daily.

Even though it will die off alittle, you'll make your money back and then get more ads.

I'm not underestimating them, i've signed a lot of deals in the past. Yeah, you pull the profit fairly quickly, but is that all that really matters to you? If it's a server that'll die off once the YT videos stop coming, then that's a problem.

You completely ignored the entire point of my post. If the server needs YT videos to survive, that's a problem. YT videos should be that jump on to get the server off the ground and build a player base. Not have them join, pay, and leave. If you pay $3,000 (example) and make $5,000 off of it, that's only a $2000 profit. Wouldn't it be better to just make that $5,000 through a dedicated playerbase without having to put a video every 2 weeks? And don't you think 130 online (as i'm writing this) is a bit low for having a video just 1 week ago that did 111,000 views? I think the OP knows this and is trying to get rid of it while he can. (No offence intended, it's actually a smart move)

That's the thing, its not just youtube videos that are made on servers for advertisements that "Die Out" after a week or so.
Look at minecraftservers.org, i am going to use HexicPrison for an example.
They spent $4,000 on a 2 week sponsorship with them.
There server PEAKED at 200 players i belive, and 5 days after the two week sponsorship they where down for 60-80 players a day.
Every paid advertisement out there gets you shit tons of players while it lasts, and dies out over time, its just how it goes.
