Hey there,
I have spent a few months developing an OPPrison server which is still in it's public beta testing phase by the name of Phoenix. I've lost motivation to develop and maintain it as time has went on.
There is currently no dedicated player-base; however, there are 2-3 people that get on per day. I also have a small, passionate staff team. There are also custom features on the server, such as Skripts and logos. I'd like to privately discuss the details of my server in Discord DMs, but here's some information down below.
Minecraft Server: 0 active players per day
Discord Server: 119 members but no one is active
IP Address: phoenix-prison.com (if someone is kind enough, I'd like a separate appraisal for this custom domain)
Store: store.phoenix-prison.com

Please don't hesitate to give a rough estimate of what my server is worth! My Discord is anna#3073 if you have any questions. :)

High performance, consistent uptime and fast support. Minecraft hosting that just works.

I couldn't log on as I don't usually play on 1.8.8 - Simply fixed with ViaVersion. This will increase your playerbase a lot from the start.

You say the discord members are inactive? IS there a reason for this? were they bought using adverts or organically joined?

Advertising is where most servers fail to be honest. Most of the servers I've developed, they struggle in getting the server out there and sometimes I'm saddened by it as my work is never shown off lol.

I wish you best of luck and i really hope you get your motivation back bro :)

I have ViaVersion and all that, but I'll try to fix it!

I bought advertisements on a Discord server for $45 and as part of the giveaway requirement, players had to join my server. I'll never do those types of advertisements again, because most people don't care about your server and only join to have a chance to win a giveaway.

I appreciate the kind words! I don't know what I'll do with my server right now, but I'll probably try to at least get it out of the beta period before the fall.

You'd get more accurate appraisals if you uploaded the logo here and maybe some in-game screenshots. Without seeing that though it sounds like you could sell the server for around $40-50. Of course, it depends heavily on the quality of everything which is hard to determine from this thread.

The domain itself is not worth anything unless sold with the server, by itself you most likely wouldn't be able to sell it.

Thank you for the good advice. I'll post some links for people to see the server and the logos![DOUBLEPOST=1591302767][/DOUBLEPOST]I feel as if I didn't properly explain what my server was or what the features were. Phoenix is a competitive OPPrison experience, and it is designed to be fast paced. I created the server with an intent of doing weekly gang top payouts and final season payouts. All features and the way things are set up on Phoenix are created to be difficult to achieve and players have to work for their position on the server. It was never meant to be P2W or anything like that. Yes, there are items on the store that lets players get the advantage but you can still earn the #1 status without buying something.
Here's some features:
- Custom enchantments that can only be obtained in envoys, crates, or with mining ores to get EXP. There are success and destroy rates on the enchantment that makes it even harder to be extremely OP on the server. There are scrolls that can help players obtain the overpowered status.
- Tokens that allow players to upgrade vanilla enchantments they currently have. The tokens are setup in a way that players can upgrade whenever they want - no more needing to click on stupid signs.
- Gangs create the competitive aspect of Phoenix. Gang leaders can ally or enemy other gangs (very similar to factions without the raiding), demote/promote members, or they can schedule fights between another gang to get that #1 spot on the leaderboards. All gangs have a bank account which allows members to deposit or withdraw money. All gangs have a KDR and a level which determines how powerful a gang really is.
- The players should be the ones running the economy and determining an item's worth, which is why there is local trading and auctioning. Players can trade their items via /trade safely to avoid being scammed and others can auction their very powerful weapons.
- Of course there are smaller features that I wish to point out such as players being notified when their inventory is full, non-donators can only use the Sell NPCs at the mines in order to sell their items, renaming items, tags, money pouches, rankup and prestige crates.
Here is a link to some images of my server:

You might want to make sure the builder has given the ability to sell with the builds. Since they aren't exclusive builds. Since they're nonexclusive I'd probably only pay 50-75 because most of it is just configuration of premium builds which you also couldn't give the person you sold the setup for. The main part you're selling is the configurations and if the economy is setup that is worth something along with the setup of most of the plugins which would be useless if the builds aren't exclusive.
