Optifine website now dangerous?

About 10 minutes ago I decided to go to the Optifine website and this popped up. Does this happen to anyone else?

That can happen with any site sometimes not sure what causes it though

The github seems to conclude that it is related to ads. Bunch of anime reading sites also have the same problem from time to time as they usually pick shady ad companies to present ads on their site.
