Hey Shaun,

So when hiring freelancers we take many more steps than most service teams do, instead of just evaluating say an image, we ask for code examples and proof of past work, we look at the vouches and see if we can find anything that may point them out as a bad freelancer. We also check their code to make sure it's good quality and we have Department Leaders who help us read their code and evaluate whether it's good or not. We have examples of mini projects which can be helpful for us to see who has actual ability in coding and who actually knows the language. If the freelancer is on multiple other service teams or has run their own we also may look into what commissions they have taken on there and try to see how well they did if possible. We also view their MCM account and look through their posts to make sure they're friendly(Not Toxic) and show their ability around the forum. Hope that helps
