What is Outback?
Outback is a "don't-die" survival server based on the deadly Australian outback. Players must fight hunger, dehydration and multiple creatures in order to stay alive the longest and top the leaderboard*. Whilst doing this, many exclusive items can be obtained i.e. swords, armour, blocks. These can be found in many ways (dropped by mobs, found when breaking dead shrubs, bought at the shops) and can be used to aid survival. Llamas are available for faster transportation**, mobs will be themed to the harsh deadly conditions (silverfish will be common) and there will also be other interesting ventures round the map while the players survive. Some of these mini subquests include a train or travelling system, a bank, and a monarchy system in which server-wide votes determine who becomes king.
*The plan was to have a live leaderboard on the side with the top 10 longest survivors and their times, and the users time and position on the server
**This was part of the original plan, but might be altered to suit versions 1.8+

I need some feedback on the idea, before it goes into full development.
Namely,
is it a good idea?
what versions should it support?
should anything be changed or added?
Funding.
Like any server, it needs funding. Due to my lack of having money, if anyone does want to help fund the project, please DM me. If the server does not turn out a success, all assets of the server (world, logo, website e.t.c.) will be shared amongst those who financed some of it.
