OVH VPS Setup Assistance.

Hello,

I am currently looking for someone who knows how to setup a VPS for 'Minecraft'. I am asking for someone who can do it for me or even guide me through it as I would like to learn so I may be able to carry on in the future if I purchase another VPS. I am looking for a system administrator that could help me through the steps that I would need to do, to create the VPS. Also, I would like to know your opinions on what packages I should buy, since I'm quite new to VPS's.

I am willing to pay for the assistance, including a vouch for yourself.

just instal apt-get java-jdk8 and some start.sh and youre done lol and some spigot.jars

Hey,

So I'm not THAT much of an expert in this matter but I'm aware of the basics and this is what I can tell you. You've to prefer a server with higher clock speed instead of cores, the clock speed is the amount of "GHz" the cpu has, the higher it is the better, cores also matter but not significantly because minecraft is single threaded for most of its tasks. Secondly, if you are not sure how to use a vps, you might just be fine with a managed host, some of them are quite cheap and provide quality service for a reasonable cost(1$/GB) and you can also contact their host for information on which package would suit you better.(Plus u can upgrade it easily if required).

As for managing the vps, choose the one that fits in your budget, It depends on the number of players you're having and the amount of usage of CPU ur plugins require.I can guide you with the setup for a reasonable price.
