I advice you to not finish any art without having them pay at least a downpayment and don't ever let them walk away without paying anything if they don't like it. People are going to abuse that to get free art ;/ . I ask for 50% after the sketch and my portfolio isn't that big either. I also suggest you practice drawing 3D boxes. ^^

Have a nice day and good luck with the art

Ahaha I believe you've read it wrong. Yes, I do wait for them to pay after I finish the art. However, if they don't like the watermarked version, and don't wish to pay, then they do not receive the art without a watermark. For small jobs like avatars I could care less if they didn't end up wanting it. ^-^ As well, the reason my characters have different looking 3D boxes is my exaggerated 2 point perspective c:

No, I didn't read wrong. People will take the artwork and use it anyways or just remove the watermark if they can be butted and refuse to pay you, it won't hold up in the long run.
Yeah, practice 2 point perspective boxes then :/ (That's the standard). It's up to you wether you want to take the advice or not though.

Logos are now available from 10-30 dollars, ranging largely upon complexity. Examples and details will be put up later.

How much free stuff do you get, that you start acting like a 4 year old online? Listen Shithead, if you want good work, like what this guy is producing, because wow, its awesome, then god dam pay for it instead of begging it for free.

I personally don't think that the price should be as it is since you're using templates, but I have a few things that I think would help you. I promise I'm not trying to be a duck!
  • I don't know if you're using a line tool or if your lines are just like that, but if you're going for some line depth I'd recommend making the corners or areas where lines meet thicker instead of thinner.
  • The shading in most of the images doesn't really fit the cartoony style. I'd suggest trying out cell shading or selecting an area and then using the gradient because it makes it seem like a faded cell shading.
  • For shine, think about this; what do they reflect onto? What are some objects around them? You can even use a piece of glass or a mirror under a light or a flashlight for reference.
I'm sorry if I seemed like a duck, that's not my intention, I just like helping other aspiring artists reach their potential best even if it's not helpful. GLWS!

Ahaha I believe you've got the wrong idea. In no way am I using templates besides the few drawings in more examples. The reason those are templates is the buyer wanted a few drawings that all had the same lineart, but as different people. Personally, I believe my prices are quite low. As a response to your feedback, while I do appreciate feedback, I'm going to have to disagree with most of it. I'm not sure if your thickness varies, but that is a unique style, and I don't believe it would go very well with my work. I'm still expirementing with shading, so I'll try out some new things. Thanks.
