Paella's "Free" Business Logos

Hello Mc-Market,

As you are most likely aware, AlbertEinstein offers free business logos for the Mc-Market community. He claims that all the logos on his portfolio were made by him when in fact they aren't.

The logos that he claims to have made actually come from websites that offer free icons (such as TheNounProject)

I recently ordered a logo for a business assignment. The logo was done within 3-4 days, however, the logo that he has presented to me was found on TheNounProject.

Hm... You should always ask permission from the user who posted the original picture. This is called theft what he/she has done.

Even if it's a fully licensed image, it's still a dick move if you make a logo that uses nothing more than a re-colored brush/asset and some text. It depends on the price they ask, but it's gotta be HELLA cheap before it's worthwhile. Now, these were apparently free, so I guess it's not a ripoff, just 'theft' if he never got perms, and misleading claims apart from that (claiming they're his own work when it's not).

I find it kind of funny that as soon as you see a website that has a similar / same icon you immediately suspect that I copied it from there.

Now I did change the colour and yes I did change the size. But unless you bothered to look at my portfolio you wouldn't have read the disclaimer. I suggest you read that.

I have permission. Finally a mature reasonable comment. I understand your concern and I do have the rights for these images.

Another mature comment. Once again I understand your concern. There is a disclaimer in my portfolio and I do have the rights. They are free and I do get around to making them all. If you desperately want one within 24 hours, do you honestly think that $0.10 is that bad? I mean I'm putting these logos together and changing the colours and organising them. Sometimes I hand draw the icon but other times I don't. Honestly is $0.10 really not worth 5-10 minutes of my time.

I honestly understand your concern but I think $0.10 isn't that much. If you want, I'll remove that feature. Please read the disclaimer in more portfolio. I'm sure we can resolve this. This is my own work, I do have the rights to these images, I put these together. I'm sure that's enough to claim that this is my own work

Well, the fact that the "Disclaimer" is in the "About" section on your portfolio is the reason to why people don't read it, I suggest you post this disclaimer on the actual thread. Not only that but the fact that you claim to have made these logos upon your thread when in fact you even state that they come from Stock Images is disappointing. Thirdly, the express package and suggestive donation should be deleted. Lastly, can you please provide the proof that you have to actually use these stock images?

What pisses me off is you offer little to no effort for a rep/vouch each
This makes people believe you're a high rep user when you are just farming rep basically instead of doing actual deals
Hence why people believe people that recently join and get rep from vouch copies/small as fuck deals are more reputable than ogs of the community, who have a shit ton of vouches but not that many rep but they are veterans and have also done massive deals hence why they should be more reputable.
