Hiring Plugin Content Developers!
CinemaCraft produces video productions in Minecraft with plugins.

Requirements
We're looking for a creative and experienced Minecraft Java developer who is familiar with the Spigot API. You will be utilizing a lot of Minecraft's features including: NMS, custom entities, armor stands, falling blocks, and particles.

As we produce video productions, you will be responsible for following a video script outline (includes most details from expected abilities, effects, NPC dialog, custom recipes, etc.) to produce the code needed for the video to be filmed. You will be expected to enhance the content with cosmetic effects and tweaks. Thus, it is important to be creative and utilize Minecraft's features to the fullest extent.

Along with a growing utility library, we have a preexisting framework that implements a dynamic task system. For example, this allows you to wait for a player to approach an area, then do NPC dialog, then execute your custom code to send a rocket model into space. Our team consists of authors, builders, modelers, and you - the developer. Everything is laid out for you before you begin.

It is worth keeping in mind that the content is filmed which provides room for a lot of movie magic regarding code functionality. You aren't expected to make a perfectly performing multiplayer minigame.

About Us
Our team is mostly remote with around 30 members from authors, builders, modelers, quality assurance, and developers. The environment is relaxed as you may work at your own pace; you just need to meet your project deadline. Our mission is to provide tailor-made entertainment that can be enjoyed by millions. We produced over 300 videos in 2020, and hope to make many more in 2021.

Payment
The pay is per project and the deliverable is a polished and bug tested plugin using our framework. We expect the project to be completed within a week which usually constitutes around 20 hours of work depending on your skill level. Ultimately, you can work on as many projects per week that you can handle. You will need to be self driven and motivated. The pay is $500.00 USD per project with a $600.00 USD bonus if expectations are met (deadline & quality). This makes the position around $25-$30 / hour depending on your speed.

Apply
To apply, please forward your resume or CV to [email protected]. Please include relevant experience, projects, and anything else you would like us to know about you.

Thank you for your interest and let me know if you have any questions!
