Hello MC-Market,

I am currently searching for a developer/system administrator for my established Skyblock server, CarrotMC. You will be paid monthly, my current budget for this position is a maximum of $25.00 USD per month. The pay will increase depending on the server's performance.

You will be in charge of optimizing the server, fixing bugs, creating databases, configuring/troubleshooting plugins, etc. You will have to put in a minimum of 3 hours of work per week. The work-load will not be that heavy.

Please do not bother applying if you do not have any experience. If you are interested in this role please either reply to this thread or PM me the following:

Your Resume (servers worked for, proof, etc):
Are you working for any other servers? (If yes, please specify):
How many hours are you available weekly?:
Timezone:
Other Info:

Regards,

Wyldr

High performance, consistent uptime and fast support. Minecraft hosting that just works.

I think 25$ is to low for all the work

It is a fair salary. I am providing guaranteed income, experience as well as a reference to the developer/system administrator who works for me in order to build up their resume. In most cases, people work their way up to the higher paying jobs.

At minimum wage you would get 2 hours of work for 1 month so that wage is not fair

Minecraft is a hobby, most people on this forum do not depend on minecraft as their primary income source. Even top networks barely offer minimum wage per hour, go and do some research for yourself if you do not believe me. It would make zero sense for a small server to offer someone minimum wage.

PS please don't bother posting on my thread if you're not going to contribute at all.

Thanks

This is something I've done for a couple years now across a few servers, what you're looking for is fairly easy. I don't know how I'd feel about being paid, This is just a hobby. And judging by the amount of players that money might be better spent on advertising.

Lmao this is hilarious. $25 for a minimum of 12 hours work? What kind of 'established' server pays their developers well under minimum wage?

What's even better is you want somebody with expereince. Any person willing to work for such a "salary" (if it can be classified as such) will most certainly elude all your expectations.

come back without giving yourself fake titles, and with a serious salary!

You are right, 'top networks' pay over minimum wage for much more work. You should maybe do some research. I'm not going to argue with you, I'm just going to state what has been stated though - $25/month for 3+ hours a week (at least 12 hours a month) is not worth it, like at all, for anyone. You are asking for a lot of work for that low price. I'm not sure the minimum wage for everyone else in the US and other countries, but my state's is $11. That $25 would be me working just over 2 hours and you are asking for 12+ hours at that rate.

I did do my research and Minecraft is a hobby. If you're not here to contribute to the thread at all, LEAVE. It's simple.
