Paid F and F - Scammed

Anyone know any methods when calling PayPal to be able to get my money back, I was scammed 65 bucks from an account by a user who is now banned. I don't NEED the money, but money is money and it's still something, so I'd really like to get my money back. I paid F and F, if anyone knows any methods reply below or DM me.

and if you are lucky enough you will have someone who is chill.
I called them and had someone who is chill af, the guy was talking to me as if i was a friend lmao.

I got scammed for a steam account, I'm warning the kid to give me the account back otherwise ill report the account as a TOS break to steam and get account locked, or he gives it back or no one gets it.

Do I explain it was a deal over Minecraft lmao or do I say it was an authorized payment?

Avoid saying its from minecraft, Instead of saying minecraft use ''Website'' or ''place'' unless they ask you.
Just explain the scam, and say the user agreed with everything and it was an authorized payment then ask if there is anywhere i can provide valid proof. they will check it momentarily meanwhile being with you.

Knowing my luck, I'll get a representative who has like a stick up their ass. lmao

You can open a claim saying its unauthorized. Change your password and call them, someone scammed me for csgo skins and i called them. Was transferred to one of the people that takes care of the unathorized transaction and hell give a payment towards your account. When your talking say the user agreed to refund the payment or some bullshit and itll work. Call and you will be with an automated robot and say chargeback, tell the real person you have an unauthorized payment and that he agreed to pay u back and theyll transfer you to some kind of person that deals with those kinds of claims.

Is there any way to do this without calling em?

Dont ever mention u paid for digital goods, theyll fucking stop the call and just let u talk and not listen. They cant do anything about that esprcially bc it was ff

Open a claim as unauthorized as that is the only option thats available by calling. You have to call them cause there i no option in the options itself. Just say you wish to open an unauthorized claim for this payment because i did not perform this payment. Once done, theyll most likely open it and wait until party responds. Think thats how it goes

The best thing is to call, those people over email are robot, and they will just repeat the same message to you until you give up "digital goods are not covered, friend and family payments are not covered". Stick to the words "i did not authorize the payment" be polite when talking to them. hopefully you get your money back.

be careful when doing unauthorized payment as your PayPal can end up getting locked

I got scammed for $20 once. I paid as F&F and all I did was to go to paypal message center and write that I got scammed blablabla and they gave me $20 back next day. This is part of their reply:

"I have now as once of goodwill gesture credited your PayPal account with the payment amount to have this issue resolved straight away..
Please be aware that the transaction number (***********) is a "Personal" payment. For your future payment when purchasing an item make sure to pay for goods and services."

Where's the PayPal message center?
