Background:
Hello, I’m Jacob and owner of Monlotron Design. I’ve had the great pleasure of going from owning my own successful server, to owning one of the most recognised Minecraft website and illustration companies. Alongside this, I own a designer clothing line, and also have many entrepreneurial passions.
I am constantly looking for opportunities to grow my brands and invest. With Minecraft servers still being a highly competitive market, there is a very high demand for high-quality server logos at affordable costs. Although we offer illustrated logos at Monlotron, the prices come at a premium. This is due to the time required to produce and design these. I sometimes struggle to meet the needs of time, and managing myself effectively to spend upwards of 3 hours on some artwork can be difficult.
The Aim:
Without going into too much detail, I have plans to broaden our brand at Monlotron and produce a specialist company working purely on server logos and illustrations. No other team has been able to do this before, however I have both the financial capability and passion to push this forward.
What I need:
I’m looking to hire at least one illustrator to produce server logos and other requests for commission. The company will take orders from clients, and illustrators will be assigned works to complete in an efficient manner.
Payment:
Naturally, I do not expect anyone to work for free. You will be paid a percentage of the total order value. This exact percentage will be discussed with you individually.
Requirements:
Please note, this will be a rather serious position. Monlotron is a high-end and premium service for Minecraft servers and you will be expected to work to time frames and to meet customer specifications. If you do not meet specifications where required, you will be dropped from the team.
Although these requirements are not set in stone, I would expect an applicant to have:
- A portfolio of work linked in their response.
- A drawing tablet.
- Reasonable amounts of experience.
- Willingness and passion to work to tight deadlines.
- Effective communication and fast response rate.
