Ascae Oldschool Prison is a server that brings it back to the good old days.The focus is in the charm and humanity that was involved with older prison servers. Bringing back guards sweeping for contraband, and encouraging players to team up to get a precious set of guard armor. If you fail, you'll land your ass in Solitary though.
The concept focuses on roleplay and a social experience over endless grinding - making sure players stick around long after they've gotten out of prison.
But you can't escape the grind, every prison server - OP or Oldschool - has one. We make our grind interesting though - boasting versatility. That endgame mine looks mighty shiny and could net a lot of cash, but so could that mine full of gravel, since gravel can drop much rarer blocks. Even for the endless grinder we have endless enchants. Want your pickaxe to have Efficiency 100? You can grind towards it, although it won't be easy. Don't want to mine on a Prison server? Well we don't judge, we offer a complex multi-stage drug process that makes drugs complicated to make, but even more rewarding as either a cash grind, combat & mining boosts, or just for fun - with silly effects.
The server is still in playtesting and we are actively working on new features to improve the player's experience. Despite this we are confident in the solid foundation that we've build and have an adequate budget to launch our server in the near future.

We are mainly looking for someone who can help us launch our server by attracting a solid playerbase.
We have a budget available to spend on influencers (such as youtubers & streamers) and you will oversee that budget, but your main responsibility will be to find players where traditional means can't find them - by networking in communities and finding individual players who are looking for a server like ours.
We offer you a stable position after a paid trial period, as well as the potential to additionally earn a part of the server profits if you exceed expectations.
Server Administrator
Voluntary
Although we are mostly ready to launch, we lack specific administration in the NA timezone.
For this we are looking for someone with prior experience who can lead a group of excited young staff members in this timezone, but most importantly we need someone who can make the server feel warm and enjoyable to anyone who joins during this time.
If you are able to combine this with the Marketing position mentioned above and/or have additional staff to recommend, this will be a benefit.
We offer you a position with a lot of responsibility in a project that is both ambitious & very community driven. If you are the right person in the right place you can grow towards becoming the server's 2nd owner in your timezone.
Builder
Voluntary
We are ready to launch and currently don't require anything more to create the project we envision, but any growing server that's willing to adapt it's community will need active builders to help us in that project.
In this case we're mostly looking for people who enjoy building, and want to help out because they are attracted to the project in general and want to be part of the playerbase regardless. You'll mostly be making small edits or expand on builds that are already there, we don't ask for terraformers or master builders in this case.
The position is entirely voluntary, but you will be compensated with in-game rewards and will also be giving free use of our Development Server to build on in your free time (whenever we aren't using it for updates). Additionally you have more of a chance to apply for positions such as Guard or Moderator due to actively helping the community.
Applications received before launch will also be given early server access to see the current builds we have.
Playtester
Voluntary
The last position is perhaps the most important in the list, we direly need playtesters before we can realisticly launch the server. As mentioned the server is completely ready to launch, but hasn't been tested and thus will need players to test out the current features extensively.
A list will be provided of key features that need to be tested, but you are also able to play freely and deliver your feedback on to us.
The position is once again entirely voluntary, and rewards for playtesting will mostly be given in the form of in-game rewards after launch. We are looking for people who genuinely enjoy this kind of gamemode, and thus wouldn't mind playing and testing out features.
