Pandas are the most useless animals on this planet.

They consume their whole body weight in bamboo all day. This is why they cannot do anything else but sit on their ass all day, bamboo provides little to no nutrients compared to what they need, it contains no protein and is pretty much just nutrients and fat.

They can only mate a couple of times a year. Most times they choose not to. Wasting breeder's time and energy.
Initially they were supposed to be carnivores, but due to conservation efforts they no longer eat meat and cannot digest it. This is literally because of humans trying to "save" them and forcing a different diet down their throats as they are physically not able to hunt.

Millions is poured into saving them by the Chinese simply so we forget about all the shit that they are doing, meanwhile hundreds of other species go extinct every day. Including the Black Rhino a couple of months ago.

They are literally kept alive because they are cute and because it gives China a better reputation.

They will die out. They have to. There is no actual reason for them to be alive anymore as they simply cannot survive, it's like when you patch up your boat a hundred times, the patches that you add only keep it around for a little longer, but you know in the end it will sink to the bottom of the ocean.

But of course everyone is head over heels for them because they look nice on a postcard.

Sorry for the rant but the bloody things push my buttons. With half of China's rural population starving they could use the millions that they put into the fuckers into the actual hungry humans generating that money for them in the first place.
