I'm not saying ISIS are justified in what they're doing, killing 120 people isn't the way to go about things, so don't go abusing me for the sake of doing so, however the reasoning behind the whole attack makes sense if you think about it.
The first part is from my own experience talking to the French, I've been on holiday year after year to different places in Europe and have met more French people than I can count, it may be the demographic I was with or another factor, but they seemed to be fairly intolerant of Muslims, racist jokes, "sand monkey" etc. This might not be true however if the population is generally intolerant towards muslims, then there's one reason.
2. Banning the burka.
Doesn't matter if it's justified or not, either way it's going to piss the hardcore Muslims off, Imagine if someone decided to not let people wear crosses on their necks, or Kippas on their heads, we'd go fucking mental (well at least political correctness would make us), the fact that it's justified or not is not taken into account by the "terrorists", they just see it as an insult towards their livelihood, and a huge part at that.
3. Bombing
On the 27th Of September 2015 France started to bomb Syria, in which they will unintentionally kill civilians, bombs aren't a sniper rifle, they have a radius and they have at it.
So it's not really surprising that it happened, if you're a youth and getting a hard time from your peers because you're muslim it's not hard to manipulate you into an extremist. Especially with the unlimited communication methods out there nowadays.
