Hey,

So I have a few servers which I have tried to sell but they haven't had much interest. I always get people coming up to me asking for free stuff such as plugins, files and even servers.

I'm giving the opportunity for someone to run my server Frontier Network with me. Not just anyone will be accepted. You will need to have experience and independence (explained further down thread).

The buy-in to have a 50% share in Frontier Network is free.

Please do a bit of research on the network before applying.

I have the domain frontiernetwork.org which is the original and legitimate domain.

What you can expect from me:
- Provide a dedicated server ($130/month) for FrontierNetwork.
- Provide certain plugins & jars (cannoning jars ect).
- Light support with the server.
- Cover monthly running costs for the server (i.e Dedicated server, buycraft subscription, website hosting)

What I expect from you:
- Provide a organised and dedicated staff team to manage the server.
- Handle community interactions and issues.
- Cover the costs of builds, website development or any custom plugin development you may need doing.
- Create a flawless custom setup
- Release the server as a solo owner

So in short, I'll be covering monthly running costs of the server and I will not be involved with the community (behind the scenes owner basically). You will be interacting with the community, getting their feedback and implementing it into the server.

Ownership Terms
I will have ownership over all assets unless discussed. This includes domain, discord, buycraft and console. You will be allowed access to all parts, just not ownership.

Server income will be paid into my verified PayPal account.

You, the partner will be paid every Saturday 50% of the server's income, from that you will be paying any promised rewards (such as ftop prizes, baltop prizes ect), builds, plugin development and and wages for managers if you chose to have paid positions.

Requirements:
- 15 Years or older.
- Sign a written contract (if under 18, a parent must sign on your behalf).
- Be able to speak fluent english.
- Be dedicated to this project, and this project alone.
- Willing & motivated to own a server.
- Have at least $100 to start off to pay for builds for first map, website / buycraft design. (Unless you have your own)

If you have any questions or queries, please contact me on discord or via PM's. If they're public questions, ask away on the thread.

Thanks,
Phone

Here’s my opinion... I think you should earn a certain amount of money and then the owner you’re recruiting steps up and takes full ownership. If FrontierNetwork actually goes somewhere you could look at $10,000 a month, and if you’re only putting in $160 + your cannon plugins, while the other owner may have to put in $300-$500 then it’s only reasonable he gets a better percentage.
That is something I can take into consideration when it comes to it. My view on this is that I'm providing someone with a small budget who cannot afford the running costs of a good spec server. $100 for example isnt enough to start a server nowadays if you're paying for everything, however when I'm covering the core features of running a server which is paying monthly expenses, $100 is more than enough to start a server. This thread isn't for people who have $500+ to spend because if that was the case, they can just create their own server and pay for everything themselves, therefore gaining 100% ownership. For those saying $100 isn't enough to pay for the startup of the server not including hosting or buycraft, you are wrong.
1. If they did go with SkyBlock they would need a reward for the best island since nearly all skyblock servers do that nowadays.
2. Indeed, managers and admins could be paid positions. You will find that if you pay your staff they will work better and have a better attitude.
3. I didnt say that but if you want to have custom plugins etc it will cost alot.
4. Trailer, buycraft theme/icons, forums theme etc
5. If you want a good playerbase you should definetely use youtubers.
I'll debunk your points one by one.

1. No, you don't need skyblock rewards for people to play. If you are that small minded that you have to follow what everyone else is doing to their servers, you shouldn't be an owner as you can't think from an entrepreneurial view of innovating gameplay.

2. No, not true. Normally staff who are paid do the bare minimum of work in order to be paid. Finding staff that love to do their work are a lot better from experience. They are passionate about managing so they will put their full effort in.

3. Custom plugins aren't needed nowadays as there are a lot of selfless developers on spigot posting their work for free for the community which server owners do not respect enough as they're making money from their free work. Plugins like Essentials, Group Manager, PEX, Factions ect are all free essential plugins. If those plugins were not developed for free, there wouldn't even be a quarter of the servers out there are there are today as plugins like those took months (if not years) to fully develop which is not cheap if you pay a developer to code that.

4. Yeah, there are some expenses that the owner will need to pay but that's expected. As mentioned above, $100 can easily cover that.

5. There are many strategies to get players other than youtubers. Hyping the discord up, contacting factions to play ect. YouTubers help of course but they're not essential.

Thats if your staff are teenagers
Most of the ages of this community are teenagers... You don't find many people in their 20's+ playing this game, but hey who am I to judge what they do in their spare time.[DOUBLEPOST=1532676848][/DOUBLEPOST]Found someone, closing.
