Hello, I am currently unable to post in the loans forum, so I have decided to get my offer out here. I am looking to raise $300 USD to start up a service of mine, I have saved just enough to cover LLC licensing fees, but I am still in need of some financial assistance for the main aspects of the business. The organization I will be forming is called Pro VM a budget/premium virtual machine hosting organization formed in Las Vegas, Nevada that solely provide virtual machines specific to businesses around the Vegas area and any organization around the the world. I have had 4+ years of experience in the field of Linux, I work with servers on a daily basis, and I am currently a student at UNLV working toward a degree in computer science, I know that ins and outs of system administration, and I have worked for and managed a few organizations providing hosting solutions previously. I have also purchased a couple basic servers to get the company off it's feet previously. I will be designing the website and configuring everything myself, I am only seeking financial aid.

Budget Specs
2 x Intel Xeon L5630 @ 2.13GHz (8c/16t)
96GB DDR3 ECC Registered RAM
2-4 x 500GB WD Blue HDDS (in RAID 1 or 10)
4 x Gigabit Ethernet + KVM over IP.

Premium Specs

2 x Intel Xeon x5687 @ 3.60-3.86GHz (8c/16t)
96GB DDR3 ECC Registered RAM
2-4 x 500GB Intel 850 Evo SSDs (in RAID 1 or 10)
4 x Gigabit Ethernet + KVM over IP.

Here is what I currently still need funding for.

Standard Server Co-location Plan ($69.00/Month) (3Months) ($207.00)

Domain Name ($9.99) + ($0.18 ICANN fees) (1 Year) ($10.17)
http://godaddy.com

WHMCS License/Reseller Web Hosting / SSL($14.99/Month) (3Months) ($44.97)
https://www.whmcs.com/pricing/
https://hostus.us/reseller-hosting.html

Virtualizor Master License ($10.00/Month) (3Months) ($30)
http://solusvm.com/pricing/

Total: $292.15 USD

Please contact me if you are interested in forming any sort of partnership and/or are interested in providing me with funding for my project. All loans will be payed off within no more than six months of the initial investment/loan creation date.

Having No-Rep and not being able to post on Loans/Investment topic is not going to help. I'm sorry, but I don't think you'll get any offers.

SolusVM Master License ($10/Month) (2Months) ($20)
You will also need the slave servers (shrug emoji thing). SolusVM sets limits on how many nodes can be attached, unless you want to run OpenVZ of course, then the master and node can run with each other. For XEN or KVM you'll need an external server for the master, meaning that master license drops to only $2.50 but add in the slave. You could also use a external server temporarily to create a VPS on the node then put the database of the external on your new VPS and upload the database. Though SolusVM support won't assist you that much if you do that.

Yea, with my own experience with SolusVM, you'll need to install all their patches to use CentOS 7 with their software. Still not updated. You need CentOS 7 to run docker for OpenVZ. Though all their patches still are required for KVM.

Have you ever used proxmox? its better than solusVM (no good) and virtualizor (mediocre) The OP is obviously on budget constraints so pricing seems to play a huge roll in the process. I simply posted my thoughts on how he could save money. Why would I go along with everyone else advising him on programs that cost money when the moral of this is saving money?

.Com domain $14
Proxmox $0.00
Colocation from Ian $40 or so bucks 2 months 80 bucks.
Whmcs 18.98

Total Price $108.95 so he's saving $137.00 seems to me getting a loan of $137 would be way easier than getting one for $245 right? So in reality I'm not trashing anything more like pointing him in the right direction.

I have used SolusVM, Virtualizor, VMware, linux containers, and just raw KVM before, I am thinking about Virtualizor as apposed to SolusVM. I have updated the thread.[DOUBLEPOST=1489466675][/DOUBLEPOST]
  1. You should of contacted a hosting company for a sponsor server before you went out and purchased servers to start up with we have loads of L5420's sitting around that we could of gave you sweet deals on.
  2. You could probably get cheaper colocation from Ian.D
  3. Knock off solusVM and use proxmox its free so you'd save $30/month.
Id just like to ask how much did you pay for that server your going to have in colocation? Also why does the domain cost so much if I were you id start with a regular .com and save loads of money that you obviously don't have.

I have chosen co-location with http://fiberhub.com as the price per additional ip is fantastic, as well as having the data center about 7 miles away from my current residence, it would be easier for maintenance, as well as the primary location would be in Las Vegas, I am also looking to host virtual machines in Dallas, New York, and London. I would love to here some of your offers for the L5420's.

All of them are good solutions for starting a hosting company I mentioned proxmox simple because its one of the best software's to use and its free but to each his own.

That explains the fiberhub decision totally understandable fiberhub has some good routes so you'd be fine with them. I can surely send you some deals on some processors we have maybe it will save you some money maybe it won't. If you need any help with anything feel free to reach out.

Would you be of any position to help me out, possibly with sponsored co-location for 2 months? I am looking for anything that can benefit me currently.

I saw that you said that you were also looking to host virtual machines in Dallas & New York. As stated above, Ian.D has good co-location offers for those locations. Although, currently, I think he is only doing co-location in Dallas.
