Pay Pal Alternative

I want to know what my best option is and especially what the majority uses the most.

Also, it seems PayPal is asking me for verification, such as an ssn, and it says I would need to enter one to "use your PayPal balance to send or spend." I am still able to send money, so i'm not sure what that's about.

True, but I wanted to see how many people used it as well compared to the other options.

I've heard some people on this community use it instead of PayPal. I also believe VenMo takes online banks. I had trouble adding mine on PayPal. That's the main reason i'm looking for other options. The only problem is, I can't do VenMo to paypal directly.

Yea I have both but I've been banned on venmo before for receiving too much money so its not ideal if u do large transactions frequently. Plus their customers support is horrible. I would recommend staying with paypal

I don't understand why you cant just provide the information they need to verify your identity...

I can, but I want to find a popular solution that accepts my bank, that bank being online. I have tried to add it, but from what I found, PayPal doesn't accept online banks.

This entirely depends on what aspect of PayPal you want an alternative for (personal, transactional, merchant, or consumer solutions) and why PayPal isn't working for you.

Mostly personal with some merchant. I mainly just want a solution where I can move PayPal to that alternative directly, or at the most add an online bank.

So there's not really a lot of options that do both. Your best bet would probably be Stripe for a merchant solution and then Square or something for personal (for personal they're all pretty similar so it's just about whatever the people you transact with use). Square also does merchant solutions but under another brand so I don't think your accounts would be connected.
