Information
You are probably wondering...
"Why would you need a WorldEdit fork? WorldEdit is fine."
"Why don't you just use FAWE? It works perfectly fine."
"What version of MC are you using? What is your budget? What is the deadline?"
All of these questions are things that are probably going through your head right now, and to avoid confusion, I have made a document that answers all your questions.
If you plan on taking the remake option, you'd essentially have to remake every command on WorldEdit. I am perfectly down to talk to you about this, but I'd doubt that is the route you'd like to take.
Documentation
Here is the documentation for this project, feel free to DM me if you have any questions.

High performance, consistent uptime and fast support. Minecraft hosting that just works.

I am not a lawyer, but if I understand the project's license right, this fork must be open source itself.

Just keep this in mind.

WorldEdit is open source so I am not sure what you mean.

WorldEdit is licensed under GNU. Depending on what you plan to do with it, here are some situations:

If you plan on putting the plugin up as a public plugin on Spigot for example, it must be open sourced.
If you sell this as a premium plugin, no matter what, you must provide access to the source code with no extra cost.
If you plan to keep it for your own projects, you don't have to worry about anything.

You should read more into the license because I don't know what you plan on doing with this plugin. Hope this helped.

This is for my server and my server alone, I am not planning on selling it or doing anything that you mentioned, so that's why I was so confused.
Thank you for clarifying.

He's saying, if someone makes a fork for WorldEdit, that fork must also be wordedit.
If it is a fork of worldedit, it is already worldedit?

Made a typo, edited.
After taking a look at the license, it seems as though Dawnzide was right.
I also asked the developers.
Anyone that has the jar for my WorldEdit fork has the right to ask me for the source code.
That's how it works.

Looks professional and well organised. I would have inquired but I don't like creating forks. Hope you find someone.
I mean, you could re-create worldedit if you want, but not sure if you'd want to do that.

Kram FactionsUltimate?, StellarFactions?, All these Spigots that claim to be INSANE TIERS above all others.

I honestly think the GNU license doesnt apply on Mc-Market. Because half of the plugins on here wouldn't exist.
Doesn’t mean you should violate the license.
