New Epoch Gaming is searching for a talented developer to join our team!​

﴾About Us﴿​

We are a gaming community that hosts multiple game servers on our dedicated host. We currently provide Minecraft, CSS:GO, and ARK: Survival Evolved servers. Our administrators are highly competent and experienced with expertise ranging from Minecraft server development, programming and professional IT work. Our top four Admins have 10 years collective experience operating Minecraft servers.

﴾Who we need﴿​

With all of our experience in mind, our primary shortcoming is Java development to create custom plugins and functionality. That's where you come in; We are looking for a developer with whom we can gradually establish a semi-long term working relationship. Someone who can assist with certain projects and issues that are beyond our current talent pool.

﴾The Job﴿​

We have a lot of stuff to get done! Most of which plays into larger systems of intertwining elements to create an epic game-play experience. Here is a list of some of the skills we are looking for:

• Developing Custom Plugins/FML Mods (Small to Large)
• Working with Modded & Vanilla Servers
• Configuring Complex server plugins to meet gameplay intents
• Creating Item ID Conversion tables...
• Assisting with server maintenance & optimization
• Working on Game-Web integration aspects
• ComputerCraft

If you can't do all of these things -- that's fine just apply!

﴾The Pay﴿​

At first, you will be compensated on a per-plugin basis or whatever your standard rates are for freelance work. However, as our working relationship matures, we can offer any combination of the following:

• Monthly flat-rate ($50 -$80/month) for general 'on-call' service or
  
• miscellaneous scripting/coding work
• Advertisement as our "Featured Developer"
• Freelance-Style compensation for larger projects
• Fairly robust accesses and status within the community
• Access to create test Minecraft servers
  
• Use our dedicated host for your own game/projects
• Donation income %

I think most reasonable people would like an extra $48 - $80 per month just to login to a game server and make a tweak, or write 6 lines of code now and then-- that on top of individual payments for larger projects is really not a bad gig. And you still get paid that week even if you're not needed for anything.

Did you notice how I emboldened the bit that says "any combination" of the following and "whatever your standard rates are"? Bold means I want you to pay a bit of extra attention to it.
