I've been desparetly trying to fix this issue for the past month. I've found no success and minecraft support has been completely unreponsive. I'm willing to pay money to whoever can help me fix to this issue.
Issue:
I recently installed a new version of Windows 7 after my previous operating system was infected by a virus. After reinstalling and updating my drivers, I've been experiencing major latency in minecraft multiplayer. While I have pretty good internet, I have unusually high lag in every server I enter (so the problem is not server side). My ping on every single server seems to be significantly larger than the ping I get normally get playing any other game. After being connected to any server, my minecraft will eventually time out and I will be disconnected. I've been playing minecraft for well over 6 years and I've never had this problem. The issue doesn't seem to be my internet connection. I played minecraft on a separate computer in my house and I had no ping lag at all. I only seem to lag (ping-wise) on my own computer.
What I have tried:
Reduce render distance (and settings in general)
Allocate more ram to minecraft
Reinstall minecraft
Change minecraft resource pack
Confirm that minecraft version matches version of the server
Update drivers
So yeah, this has been an extremely frustrating issue and I'm willing to pay someone help me fix it. Skype: l.quinn5
