So, I make most of my money online from selling resources and premade digital products. Before I used to use only resources, but then moved over to mainly using Sellfy. Everything was going fine and has been for the last 2-ish years, until 2 days ago, when randomly my PayPal account got permanently limited.
The email just said that this was due to some high-risk activities and I was a bit confused, so I called them. The PayPal rep told me that I got limited because I was selling digital goods. PayPal doesn't really like that and considers Digital Goods 'high-risk' since you can't track them and stuff.
Now, what can I do? I knew PayPal was a pain in the ass and had heard many many stories of why it was a bad company, so I can't really say I didn't see it coming.
I know there are alternatives like Stripe and CryptoCurrencies, but if I switch over, the number of customers I get will decrease by a lot. If only there a good competition to PayPal.
Also, can I appeal it? If so, has anyone successfully gotten their account un-limited?
And could I possibly create another account? Has anyone also done this?
