Hello!

I made my paypal account around 4-5 years ago when I was "afraid" to post my personal information, even my anme) on the internet, so I made a "fake" one, with a random name that doesn't means anything and a fake adress.
Now I have my credit card and my bank account added to this account and it is verified(as I know) and everything is good, I recieve and I send money without any problem, but is there any way so I could contact paypal and prove them who I am and get that personal information changed because I was stupid some time ago without getting my paypal closed or anything? I am not sure about the age I said I had btw..

They might actually close your account if you do that, It's worth a shot though.

If they close my account I won't be able to use my credit card or link my bank account when I make a new paypal..

Ughh im sorry for you, than i guess you can only contact paypal :| i hope you will get a nice help from them.

It seems like the only way of doing this is by sending them a photo id, but unfortunately I am still underage and I will get my account closed for sure.

Close your PayPal account, make a new one with your real name. Get a new card from your bank (new card number) and then add that to your "legit" paypal.

Make sure you put your all true credentials or else they will freeze your account to 180 days.If you want to resolve this problem you must pass all documents that they wan ro call them

Withdraw the entirety of your paypal balance beforehand. Trust me, you won't regret it. I've had 4 paypal accounts locked before and put on a 180 day hold. It's worth the extra few minutes.

Just send them an email. I had a fake name on my PayPal and I just emailed them to change it.
