Let’s say I just received $100 in PayPal balance from selling something, then I deposit it into my bank acc linked to my PayPal. My new balance is $0. If the buyer charges back will it automatically take it from my bank?
What do you mean? What will they do?[DOUBLEPOST=1533015608][/DOUBLEPOST]They will attempt to.
If it goes into negative do I owe them money or can I get away with it somehow?Your Paypal goes into a negative balance, and that's a pain in the ass to work with.

heres from paypal "In such cases, you must reimburse PayPal for the amount of the reversed transaction, plus any associated fees incurred by PayPal. Please resolve your negative account balance as soon as possible. If the negative balance isn’t resolved within 120 days, your account may be locked and you won’t be able to log in to your PayPal account."If it goes into negative do I owe them money or can I get away with it somehow?
[DOUBLEPOST=1533015952][/DOUBLEPOST]I’m going to be making them pay through family and friends but they can use unauthorized. Is it easy for them? Is there a way to preventIf you have a bank attached, they will attempt a withdraw.
If you go into negative, your credentials wont be allowed to validate other accounts.[/QUOT
I’m going to be making them pay through f&f and I know they can report as unauthorized but is it easy? Like is there a way to win the fight
From what I've experienced, Paypal has a good system of determining if an individual's account was hacked or used without authorization. Out of like the past 7 unauthorized claims I've opened, I've only won 2. The buyer, however, can chargeback through their card or bank company which is way easier since most of the time the seller doesn't have the correct legal way of proving they sent the digital good which ends up in a win for the buyer. I know for a fact that my credit card company doesn't take screenshots so chat logs don't count, they only take legal documents or official emails of charges or sent goods Paypal has to provide since they are the merchant.[DOUBLEPOST=1533015952][/DOUBLEPOST]

Examples of legal documents would be contracts and tracking IDs (Usually went selling digital good on MCM, people don't use official contracts since its way too complicated and there isn't, to my knowledge, tracking IDs for most things sold on MCM)
This can help with fighting chargebacks.
Yeah in the 3 years I've purchased things online I've had to open 7 unauthorized claims but I've only won 2 of them (I actually had a valid reason to open them, the seller didn't provide the digital good I paid for.)You mean 7 unauthorized claims?
So basically if there is a bank chargeback and it’s a digital good I’m fucked?
When you’ve opened those claims, don’t you have to prove it was unauthorized? I thought it wasn’t unauthorized not sending goods?[DOUBLEPOST=1533041763][/DOUBLEPOST]Yeah in the 3 years I've purchased things online I've had to open 7 unauthorized claims but I've only won 2 of them (I actually had a valid reason to open them, the seller didn't provide the digital good I paid for.)
I wouldn't say you would be "fucked" but there is a high chance of the buyer winning the chargeback just for the sole reason of no legal documents from you that proves you sent the goods.
