Hi, So recently I have saw many posts concerning Paypal chargebacks and I saw many wrong/worried people. I have a server and a small business mand I have kept WAY OVER 40+ chargeback cases so I know very well how to deal with them.
PLEASE NOTE: Everything here might not be right and its ALL based on information I have received and personal Experience.

FAQs:
1. Can you chargeback a friends and family case?
A: Yes, it is actually very easy to do so, all you have to do is email/call Paypal and have them review a transaction that you might not have done. Called a "Authorization Claim."
2. If you are falsely charged back, will you win the case?
A: Almost 95% of the time aslong as you are LEGIT you will win the case! PLEASE keep evidence, and be very careful and take screenshots of everything. Sometimes, when you contact Paypal, they will say they cant do much but you just have to keep on calling! There will be one agent that could clear those cases right then and there! AND, if you are lucky enough, and the scammer (Or whoever made the chargeback) has done it before, you are also guaranteed to win the case.
3. Will I win the chargeback case if I am legit?
A: Same as before, you MUST have evidence that you are legit and on the right side so Paypal could gather everything to help you win! IT WOULD HELP A LOT, if this person scammed multiple times, just gather the victims and contact Paypal together, you will easily win the case by doing so.

Notes:
- Please DO NOT panic, if YOU are legit, you WILL win the case! Just take your time, and get everything together!
- If you are someone who is going to attempt to create a false chargeback, please note that if you lose the case, you will most likely be charged a $20 fee for every payment that you have falsely charged back.
- Goods and Services chargeback cases are easier to win (Again, in my opinion)
- I recommend that you use Goods&Services as a buyer/seller.
--- Of course, if you ever get a chargeback case filed against you and you dont know what to do or you're panicking, PM or add my on skype (thefearlessminer) I WILL HELP YOU FOR FREE (Unless you want to pay me :p)

Thank you for reading, and if you have any questions/feedback, please let me know! (Again! Most of this are from multiple personal experiences.)

This seriously happens a lot for me.
It actually is extremely terrible and there is literally nothing you can do.
Most people are just random chargeback kids and there is nothing you can do. There is just one suggestion from my side: Consider calling Paypal. It is extremely worth it.

I see what you mean but for me, there lots of things you can do. All stated in my post, but most people just panic. They are VERY easy to deal with and I usually win each case within 20mins.

So what's the way to sell things?

Selling as F&F you can get chargebacked, good as services too.. Idk what to do
From what I've read, it is more difficult to charge back from F&F, G&S also has tax. The best way is to still use F&F and just log everything neatly.

And how you know that he isn't going to do a chargeback through F&F?
The person might, but it is more difficult and if you got all of the evidence that he is scamming you will win the case, like @Op said.

Like he said, You could just buy/sell using Friends and Family because its harder to do chargebacks and there's no tax, and again, with evidence but there's a lot of down sides. There is no doubt you will win the case. Paypal customer service is not as bad as others think, it just depends on each person, some are lazy, and some will stay on the phone with for you hours to figure out and help you win your case. Goodluck and if you ever have a chargeback issue, let me know.

Thanks :)

And how you will send evidences to paypal if the payment was sent via F&F? It means you didn't sell anything..

You will most likely have to call (better option) but once a case is open, there would be a Paypal team investigating your situtation and before they do that, it would ask for you to provide evidence of the transaction. BUT here's the down side, and here is why I recommend using Goods and services because if you send friends and family to buy a good/service, you are violating Paypal's rights, and it was YOUR fault. Lemme know if you need more information.
