They are accounts for people under 18. They are hooked up with your parents account. Pretty much makes it so they cannot be limited.

Neither did I till my paypal account got limited. I lost $1k~... I freaked out because that was under a surname ObviouslyRu. I was going to get a new PC!!!

After 180 Days (Aka. 6 months of patience), the money may be released to you in a check (or cheque if you're british) to the home address set on the Account. They aren't "stealing" anything, the only form of income PayPal gets is the transaction fee for G&S payments.

Like Theo J said, I have a bank account hooked up to a regular paypal. Any time I get money through paypal I transfer to my capitalone360 account. It is safe, and I am not sure how much paypal closing student accounts is really going to change anything. People are still going to use Paypal, the company is just being an @sshole about it.

Same here. I never keep more than 5 dollars at a time in my paypal.

If I am sending/receiving more than like $50, I use a different method. Don't want to get caught with $50+ in my account.
