PAypal got hacked.

Ny paypal recently got hacked, I have no clue how, I cant login to anything, nor even change password. I tried changing the password but I cant.

Any advices I can recover it? It has alot of transactions I made and has money in the paypal account.

Contact paypal. Best option you have now, I don't think if they can help you but, atleast give it a shot. goodluck man!

Edit: Also, when someone logs into your paypal from a different IP, don't you get notified by paypal in your email?

I never got one, I legit cant even login, I tried all my passwords including my emails, none worked. Ill contact paypal.

Hackers, of course hackers. I had 10$ to keep for giveaways, currently have a 2$ giveaway and I need to find a way to gain that.

Just call PayPal and explain that your account has been hacked and you want them to lock it. Send some documents proving you own the account, emails, id etc. They're not going to ignore it lol. (Unless of course, you have an unverified account then you might have a bit of trouble getting access back to the account)

uhhhh my dude, I never connected my bank to my paypal so does that count as unverfiied?

You mean someone guessed/bruteforced your password? Or did you reuse your password somewhere? only other thing I can imagine is someone social-engineering paypal into giving them access.[DOUBLEPOST=1514215809][/DOUBLEPOST]The only 2 other ways that could theoretically have happened is 'hackers' finding a weakness in paypal's login system (very unlikely) or them having found a weakness in a paypal database (extremely unlikely for paypal specifically, but not impossible, since many supposedly secure sites have weaknesses).

The thing is, with both cases they'd not be limiting themselves to your account.[DOUBLEPOST=1514215885][/DOUBLEPOST]Also, unverified means they never verified your identity, which usually takes 2 steps. 1.adding a bank or creditcard to the account 2. sending a copy of your ID to confirm your account data are really yours.

Did you re-use that password on ANY site?
Also, since it's compromised anyway, try filling it in here: https://haveibeenpwned.com/Passwords after changing it.

That checks if the password has been in any recent databreaches. Ofc, do this only if its gonna be changed immediately after/has already been changed.

No, I dont use the same password, but when I tried connecting I tried all my passwords.
