Paypal Help.

So recently I was scammed out of the server I sold. I sold it for $800 USD. He had sent it through paypal and such which I now realize was a big mistake and should have been done via wired bank transfer. Im here to ask for help. He charged back and is currently winning somehow. I provided the proof of the Skype logs, giving the server information, sending the files, sending the domains and him being owner on the website. What else is there to prove?

Just keep showing them the proof that you gave him files, he payed you, he charged back and all that stuff. It's never happened to me so if you did what I said I really don't know.

I provided it all and they are saying it is "not covered with paypal seller protection"

Paypal will not help you if you sent to people you do not know in real life payments thru friends and family...
So yeah..

You cant do anything now, He has a copy of the files, and he will win the chargeback... You can call paypal and explain, for the best support... I did this one and somehow the scammer still won after they closed the dispute... There are too many excuses 'unauthorized' etc... sign a contact next time for deals over $250 with untrusted users.

Its just time to leak the files, and give them to everyone for free now... (so the scammer has no use for them)
Because you obviously cant re-sell them, and he already has a copy.

I had to do this to a build when someone charged back and won... Now the scammer has no use for it, as its being used on other servers now.

This is a way to teach scammers they aren't getting anything, and their plan didn't work.

I cried many times..

I learned, not to do anything with new users with low rep, and to pick out fishy deals.

Your only going to get the best support if you call paypal, then just explain everything.

They might help you... (they dont ever help me)

Could you provide proof that you THOUGHT he was gonna pay via f&f if that was the verbal agreement? That could be proof that he decieved you in a way. I don't know if it will do much or anything at all, but tbh anything is worth a shot at this point
