Paypal limited, I need your help.

Hi,
Yesterday my paypal account got limited because I used a VPN to log onto and I tried to make a payment while I was on a VPN, who was a big mistake apparently. Over $800 are now limited and I'm not able to provide what they're asking for.

I would like to know for how long these funds will be held and how I will be able to withdrew them after the held because I saw that you can't send them to an other paypal account.

I'm pretty sure they don't limit your account when using a different IP address/VPN as I've done it many times and nothing has happened. It must be due to another reason - you should receive some sort of email stating the reasons for such a limitation on your account.

logging in with a VPN shouldn't get you limited and the funds will be on hold for 180 days before they send instructions to your email on how to withdraw it to a bank account however there are services which can transfer the money out before that but they have quite high fees

You're fucked, basically.
You'll most likely gonna have to give them the information or if you're lucky they're gonna release your ufnds after 180 days

Why "if you are lucky" its not 100% that they'll release the funds ?

Well, right after I tried to use a VPN to checkout something, it got limited, I didn't received any mail and they're stating the following : We need to verify your identity[DOUBLEPOST=1541149338][/DOUBLEPOST]

Mine just got limited and they don't release

Hmm, that's weird then. Maybe it was just a coincidence then since something like that shouldn't cause a limitation.

I haven't had my account limited before, however, I believe the limitation won't be removed until you verify your identity, by sending a photo of your passport or similar to prove you're over the age of 18.
