Will they like to contact the credit card owners or the credit card company and send letters to my house?
I'm kinda scared tbh, never had a negative balance

remove the card off the Paypal
Dont think PayPal allows that. Once 1 card is linked, it stays linked.

Also, Adam Lim , I personally went into -$1000 before with PayPal cuz of several clients that a "Manager of Youtubers" on here (hint: Momo) decided to chargeback on me, and he was using my PayPal to conduct transactions. He couldn't do much to help get the money back from contacting the scammers' banks and such, PayPal wouldn't cooperate in the case. It was about 6 months until I had enough money to pay them. By then I had to pay them via a debt collector over the phone and I asked if this affected any credit or IRS tax history etc.

They replied, no, this doesn't and it didn't matter if I was paying for the debt/loss of money or not. PayPal in the end truly can only scare you with letters and at worst take you to court if its worth it to them to do so. Otherwise, they'll take the loss and continue to scare you with emails, letters, etc. I haven't heard of a single time (at least in MC community) of someone showing up physically to your address and demanding the amount be paid.

Thanks. and yes, I cant remove emails/cards. If I make a new account, is it okay if I put a fake address?

Anything fake, is susceptible to TOS violation by PayPal and may affect your chances in the future to get a legitimate PayPal. They may take things to a legal route if you persistently do so. Idk, im not one to test them like this.

I think if you add a new card, you can remove the other one. So just get a $5-10 visa gift card, add that and remove your mom's card if you want to put her card on a new paypal. Otherwise, like others said, you'll end up being fine man.

Change the address under the account to a fake one and remove the primary address. I stopped getting mail after a couple letters. Account was negative some amount and I just later deleted the PayPal account completely. 3 Months pass and I make a new account under the same email and same information to fully verify it and I'm good now. No negative balance or anything. : )
Guess I just got lucky..

Edit: It's not exactly legal, but just make sure you don't ignore any letters you get from debt collectors..

I had the same issue. My balance was €137, I used my real phone number, because they kept asking for it to secure my account.
Though I never used my real billing adress, so they could never go to my house.

When I was in debt, they kept calling me at least 7 times a day. I couldn't pick up the phone, since I work in the military and had to do other stuff. After 3,5 months in negative balance I paid them off. They kept calling me for 4 more days and finally they received the money and didn't call me anymore.

I'd suggest to pay them off as soon as possible to avoid any more problems.

Like most people have said in this thread, there is not much they would do. They can pass your debt onto a collector, but there isn't much they can do for $100. Taking you to court would be unlikely, as it would cost them more in legal fees. So it would be a complete loss.

Though, you should repay it respectfully or contact PayPal and explain your situation.
