I had an incident where they put a hold on my funds (Over 250 dollars at that point) so I contacted there support via phone and spoke to them over a few days. I spent at least 5 hours complaining to different support agents throughout those 3 days. On the last day I literally sat there for about 3 hours and just kept asking to speak to a superior when they said they couldn't help me until I reached this guy which was a "Manager of the Fraud Department" or something like that. He basically told me they weren't going to reverse it and that they had a right to hold my funds as its written in the user agreement. I got lucky however because it did end up getting cleared a few weeks later. Guess they figured out that I wasn't a terrorist or something. It's ridiculous the way that they just freeze, limit, and ban accounts for literally no reason. Like why on earth would they have the right to hold your hard working money for 180 fucking days. Its literally a scam but sadly they dominate the ewallet scene.

For a legal point of view, Paypal is not a bank thus by law is not allowed to restrain you from cashing out your funds. Keep that in mind.

Well like I said when I’ve been commenting to everyone here.

I have no interest in cashing out anything lol. My only goal is to get the account unbanned. That is the legal standpoint I’m going for lol. The money in the account has no interest to me.

I was once permanently limited by PayPal when I sold web hosting clients to an existing company. They continued using my registered name on their PayPal and were doing some fraudulent payments on theirs, which flagged mine as well. Had to be on the phone for 2 hours and explain before I got it fixed.[DOUBLEPOST=1552386978][/DOUBLEPOST]

Your goal is to find out WHY you were permanently limited and how well you can explain that the fault isn’t yours to begin with. Never acknowledge your faults.

Dude PayPal aren't thieves alright? Just cash it out and make a new one, verify it and make sure it's always used properly.

Erm. The “proper” way is getting the account unbanned then “cashing out” and “creating a new account” lol.
