PayPal Question.

Hey McM! So a little over a month ago I got scammed $100 by a user who never sent me the item. So I filed a PayPal dispute and about two weeks ago escalated it to a claim. Now PayPal says I needed to wait until July 7th for the seller to respond but he hasn't and it's July 8th. Does anyone know how much longer PayPal is going to take to give me my money?

I'd recommend contacting them again and quoting them on the whole "7th" thing.

Calling paypal is always the best option. You are also lucky that you bought a tangible item because paypal doesn't cover virtual items such as minecraft ranks. However if you used a credit card and paypal still doesn't refund you. You can always call your credit card company and have them withdraw the money for you.

I already tried calling them. As usual I was placed on hold for almost 2 hours and by the time I got into a call with someone they didn't speak English.

Also the item was a Minecon 2013 cape account. It's not tangible but it did give me the option of choosing if it was a virtual good.

On the bright side the scammer has not responded at all to PayPal so that should lean things closer to me.
