Paypal Question

Hello,

I am wondering if I am allowed to have two paypal accounts registered under the same name and last name? I use one for business and one for personal uses but the business one is technically not a business account according to Paypal, I am just wondering if this is allowed?

I do not want my account(s) to get frozen due to the money I currently have in them, my person account has my bank and everything linked while my business does not it just holds money for projects I want to create.

Am I allowed to do this?

I have like 5 under the same name.

Are you in the united states and have you ever sent money from one to the other? I just do not want Paypal to be suspicious and freeze my account for no reason.

So upgrade my personal account to a business account and make my business account my personal?

Business account deals with any transactions regarding purchases for Minecraft and or other internet projects.
Personal account deals with personal expenses and has all my cards linked and bank accounts.

This is not allowed. My paypals both got limited this week for havong multiple.

Well dammit so I just sent money to my business account will my accounts get limited or frozen or what will happen?

I sent them back and forth for about 3 months. When one gets limited, you can just refund the money to the other and then give it to friends, spend it, etc.

Wait so my account doesnt get frozen and this is the only time I sent money to my business do you think they will catch it?

Hey there,

For Paypal, usually you must use 2 different names. When it comes to a business name, if your account gets limited and you have a TOS for this business and it isn't an actual business, you could get in trouble.

Conclusion: You need to use 2 different names for personal and business paypal. Hope this helps.

I call it a business account because I pay for my business related things but its not related to a business nor a business account.
