So I am trying to change my name on PayPal to my mom's name in order to send a picture of the front of the SSN card in order to accept money. It says error please try again and it is annoying the crap out of me. Anyone know what to do?

So if someone sent me money and is waiting for me to accept it will the money go back to that person? I know this might be a silly question but I want to make sure before I close the account.

You can't change a name completely, You could only change a letter or two.

Yeah; making a new account is the way to go in this situation most likely because at least from my experience I'm pretty sure they require a legal document of a name change or something? Yeah; they're serious about fraud.

It's funny, I had a few PayPals get limited due to me not being smart about what I named them in the past.

Refund them or tell the buyer to cancel the payment.
