for some reason , people has the mindset that you CANNOT charge back on paypal when paid f&f, imo that’s not true at all, i have charged back in few f&f cases where i got scammed, and even won the case! Just to help those poor ppl out

He is saying it is illegal to chargeback on these. It isn't really though since they scammed you out of money, so if they contacted police you can say "I was charging back on an item I never received and was told by the user to use F&F and didn't know what that means" so no matter what you can't really get in trouble.[DOUBLEPOST=1522757456][/DOUBLEPOST]

I never accept payments as friends and family. It's still possible for them to chargeback and it's harder for you to defend since Paypal doesn't think it's a payment for a service or product. Plus I'm pretty sure if you keep accepting payments as friends and family your Paypal may be limited. You can only have so many friends and family, everyone you meet is not a friend or family member and Paypal isn't stupid.

well, only SOME paypal staff is pretty lame, but most are pretty flexible and easy to work with, people say it depends on your luck, i agree with that 100% tbh xd. But the suggestion i gave is pretty full proof, so either your recording/screenshots werent sufficient enough(like not enough proof, porving identity as well),or ur unlucky

nope! i have no problem with your wording, unfortunatey your case has already expired. its in paypals polivy that u can open a dispute 6months after the deal was made, anything beyond that is rejected. I dont have to post this in dms its to help those with questions out

I see, thanks a bunch. I've lost all 3 cases I opened against scammers (as a buyer) and I feel like I'm an unlucky buyer since it's usually sellers sharing their horror story

How do you chargeback with F&F as I got scammed recently

u can go to resolution center, select the payment u made and click message buyer/open dispute(case). from then on, select "item not received" and message the buyer. after awhile(14days i think), u can escalate the claim to paypal(paypal will reveiw the case) and provide sufficient evidence.
