My pc is shit and im looking to revamp

I think there was an intel i2 or something realllyyyy bad

Is an i7 good or is there a better cheaper processor to get

P.s idk much about computers

Its a regular pc with a 1050 graphics card i think

Anything else to upgrade?

If your budget is around $400 I suggest
a "console killer"
Ryzen 3 2200g
B350m Motherboard
Hyper 212 EVO (Cpu cooler)
16gbs of ddr4 3000mhz memory
& if you'd like to purchase a graphics card I suggest a 1050 ti for this build
if you'd rather not buy the graphics card you can just use the APU which has 2gbs of VRAM so you'd be more than set for some games you can expect 60fps at 1080p on most games some demanding titles you'd probably want to turn the resolution down to 900p or 1280x720 (720p) I can send you a link to the build or I can send you a screenshot of it.

I can also send you a video of one of my favorite YouTubers who builds computers for a living in which if you do buy the stuff in which I've suggested you can follow him as he builds it I'd also like to mention the reason he says it is $500 is due to the RX 580 in which he added to his build but you don't need to get a dedicated graphics card until later on in the future if you would just like a pc that can multi-task & game for right now
and as I didn't fully read your post (my bad) if you have an i2, i3, and a 1050 ti that will bottleneck your system a lot if you game AAA titles

Get a better processor definitely, (like an Intel i5) and possibly some more RAM. Do you know how much ram you have installed onto your computer?

Ah yeah I was going to reply again however didn't think I should but yeah for sure you should get the b450m motherboard alongside the Ryzen 2200g for say your graphics card ever fails your APU has your back and you can upgrade later on down the road I assume the bottlenecking is really annoying from what you have now upgrading to a Ryzen 2200g would fix your bottlenecking issues and you'd be able to play games or multi-task apps like photoshop or AE
You can go to "GPUcheck" and check the Graphics card and Cpu comparison/quality if you'd like as I've previously looked it up it said the overall combination score was 99/100 for Low / High settings depending on the game of course whatever games or apps you use I'd look up benchmarks to see if it fits your liking

You're fine and RAM is your RAM sticks "what helps run your computer" I suggest looking at tutorials on how to build a computer if you don't know a lot about computers
I suggest watching
JayZtwocents, Bitwit, LinusTechTips(somewhat), YesTheory, they all usually go in-depth on how to build a PC and if I were you I'd watch them they teach you the basics like how to put in the I/O shield as well as the plastic socket protector so you don't break any of the pins and so you don't bend the I/O shield cause it is really easy to snap/bend the I/O shield and as I don't want to accidentally misinform you I really do suggest watching some of the people I've listed above but if you have some random questions I am more than happy to answer them I love helping people who don't know much about the PC world

Maybe even a 2600g and a b450
