Someone help me fix this, my screen randomly goes black with random lines when running games.

1) Open minecraft
2) Low fps on windowed fullscreen
3) Press F11 for fullscreen and fps rises
4) Exit full screen
5) Screen goes black and game crashes

This happens with multiple games and happens at random times. If you have any ideas let me know

Can't say the exact reason, but it most likely has to do with your graphics card. Check your drivers. If they are all good, you might have to replace the card.

Just updated all the drivers. Is there any way I can do a graphic card check to identify a problem?

sounds like a corrupted graphics card driver, would recommend using DDU (display driver uninstaller) and restarting your computer and letting Windows reinstall the latest signed drivers to see if there is a difference.

What graphics card (gpu) do you have? Do you have any extra hdmi/displayport/whatever cable runs from your gpu to monitor to try and test? Have you tried switching where the cable plugs into the gpu (most gpu's have multiple slots, try switching it). If none of these works, and your drivers are updated. You'll probably need a new gpu

GTX 1080 and I’ve tried other ports. My drivers are updated so I’ll try doing what Burb said.
