so my friend has a PC that just wont start up sometimes and also crashes.

I believe its the PSU? Could someone confirm this, we debating on going out to get one.

I put a high GPU in it which caused it to not even start. I then put in a very cheap GPU and it starts up but will crash when playing games.

Might be the GPU, i had the same problem. My pc was working 1-2 hrs then crash. And crash in games, i got a new gpu and now it's working good

Has he done any overclocking? And can I get the PC specs including the PSU size/model[DOUBLEPOST=1554313365][/DOUBLEPOST]Just general stuff like CPU and graphics card

Were not home right now and it also wont start (We dont know the PC off hand).

Ok, well I would need the PC specs to get any further, as it could be a variaty of different reasons why it wont start. I presume if he doesn't know its not overclocked unless it came like that(presume he got it prebuilt?), however what could be the issue is that your CPU/GPU combination is drawing too much power from the PSU, which means that it cannot start

It use to be a old PC of mine. Its not overclocked and it use to work fine. After a few months he wasnt on it, shit hit the fan.
