We need a few people who are ONLY dedicated to support tickets, because most of the time it takes a couple of days for a support request to get read, and it's VERY annoying, since you're waiting days upon days.

We don't need more people on support.
Every staff member has access to support tickets.

The only tickets that don't get resolved almost instantly are tickets that can only be answered by a moderator, and then there are those that only an administrator can respond to.

For example, your ticket, Hitman, could only be answered by bebos.
As stated in your ticket.

More non-staff support ticket people would have nothing to answer.
They'd literally be doing nothing.
I assure you, any ticket that can be resolved by someone who isn't of mod rank or higher is dealt with by Gruss or I within hours if not minutes.
The assignment of tickets is sometimes confused, so the correct role (admin/mod) does not know to respond to them, that's the only issue currently.

I'll make a point to re-assign each ticket that gets submitted, to help prevent this; as I'm sure my fellow team members will.
Thanks for your concern though.

that wouldn't really make sense because they need to be able to actually do stuff, for example, they wouldn't be able to delete a thread or change usernames etc.

They would just be reporting everything straight to BeBosny.

I have to agree with Bosny. Staff do get a lot of reports. If you submitted it like 2-3 days ago, that's when it would be annoying. I understand if it's 1 day, but more then that, I just get annoyed.

I was simply saying that it would be much quicker then (soon to be) 2 days for some simple thread cleaning if you had some more low staff that only do Support. Why wait 48 hours when you can wait 1-3?
I'm low staff.
I can't clean your thread.
You need a moderator for that.
Adding more low staff won't get your thread cleaned.

If support requests are under staffed, we're not adding "support staff".
If anything we'd add more moderators.

Doesn't that make more sense?

Life is made up of waiting. Waiting a few days for a support ticket is fairly fast. Comparing that to other sites and services that take weeks to respond with an automated message.

I've created 3 tickets and all of them got handled in 2-6 hours. So I have to disagree

It does, what about allowing "Chat Moderators" to do simple support tasks?

Please note that i said simple, more advanced ones is still for Mods.
Did I not already say that Gruss and I handle nearly all of the support tickets that don't require mod or above?

You and gruss repond to support tickets in less than 6 hours from my experience.
