Story goes I was, and still am, looking for a developer and someone to help configure for my custom faction 17.-1.8 server.
-Custom enchantments
-Helper/mod/admin/head admin
-Rename and rename items
-Custom bosses, plugins
-Website support/work

Anyway, the last 5 days I've had not 1, but 2 people come to me interested in doing work.
The first fellow made 3 custom enchantments and said it wasn't worth it, and hasn't replied since (4-5 days now)

And the 2nd dude, who I told I needed custom enchantments made STAT, he agreed. Around 24 hours later he messaged me he couldn't do custom enchantment configurations.............................. LIKE BOI I was in a call with him for at least 30mins explaining what we needed, when it could be done, payments, etc and everything was all good. Next thing I f*cking know he loses all brain cells and doesn't know how to config.

What's your story?

Seems legit. I've had problems with developers too who get lazy or staff in general, and when I demote them they resign because they're salty.

Normally it's per commission, and how hard it is/ how long it takes.
More committed devs probably get paid a good sum per couple of weeks

They don’t make that much but let’s be real, 1% of all developers have actually studied development properly to reach a notable skillset.

Tip of advice, don’t use services teams unless they are heavily vouched, and not operated with every freelancer they could find.

There will obviously be good transactions, but for big things, find trusted freelance developers not hired through a commission service team. My experience with service teams has always been bad in that respect, but with freelancers 10x better.

So a bunch of kids just trying to make a quick buck with no love for what they're actually doing. Gotcha. I'm on the second year of my Frontend and Mobile development Bachelor, but considering doing some Java development on the side. I might as well make plugins for a game I enjoy while I'm at it.
