I don't mean to be rude, but why would you make this? There are many sites that already do this. Ebay, ServerMonkey, and just posting a thread here directly.

There may be a market for it, just like there is for ServerMonkey.
In pro audio & lighting for instance, nobody uses eBay, most use just a few industry-specific classified sites.
It's just a matter of looking at the competition and figuring out if you can make it better than them in one way or another.
This is similar to what Ian.D already does.
Anyways, OP if you wanted you can look for surplus auctions or government auctions from time to time to find pallets of server hardware and similar consumer grade hardware for sale.
