I think I've worded the thread wrong, but I've got some great answers like Tommy John and Bill Gates.
However I'm looking for people who RISKED themselves and now EFFECTED SOCIETY. Examples being when MLK risked his whole life for black rights movement, or Bill Gates by dropping out of college and effecting how people use technology today.

Payout is currently $3 to the best, however to increase if I'd like.

Harry Truman our 33rd president here in the United States. This guy- image.jpeg

He didn't go to college and he still majorly impacted the United States. He's the one who dropped an atomic bomb on Japan and was our president for World War II [email protected] is my PayPal. Thank me later.[/QUOTE]

Elon Musk, co-founded PayPal, he created America’s first viable fully electric car company Tesla Motors, started the nation’s biggest solar energy supplier, and rolled the dice with NASA to launch his space exploration company SpaceX all in the space of 15 short years.

Elon has managed to solidify Tesla Motors in a high risk, high cost industry. He faced the critics and haters when he funded his own SpaceX mission to Mars and was on the verge of company collapse when he played Russian Roulette between funding both failing companies Tesla & SpaceX, not knowing if both companies will fall apart or not. Elon Musk is known as this generations well known biggest risk taker.

Elon Musk’s Networth is estimated to be $6.4 Billion and growing.

My friend recommended Malcolm X, I think he'd be a great person to do it on (I haven't researched him much, but I know he was a civil rights leader), and I don't think anyone else is doing him. If you have any other suggestions nows the time to do it :p[DOUBLEPOST=1449114638,1449114579][/DOUBLEPOST]

I'll look him up, he sounds cool too, however he didn't exactly effect society the way I wanted, but still a great answer!

Oh I have a good one
Genghis Khan. He started out with a VERY SMALL NUMBER of people in his army but had a good strategy and determination. Risked being demolished like every time he marched into a new Chinese settlement because the opposing team almost always had like 5x more troops. He raped like everyone, risked getting a various number of diseases (I'm not sure if AIDS existed back then). 5% of the world has his DNA. He accomplished so much and ruled 20% of the Earth's landmass or Earth's surface itself (I forget which, if it is the first one that's pretty awesome because like only 30% of the world's surface is land). He also helped the environment a lot because killing all those people made a lot less carbon waste.

Magic Johnson took a risk to publicly announce he had contracted HIV and he basically revolutionized how the world saw HIV/AIDs and that lead to better treatments and methods to fight the diseases. He's one of the greatest NBA players ever. That might fit perfect for you.
