PERMISSIONS-EX PROBLEM

Hi, i was wondering if anyone could give me support with an issue i have with the latest version of permissionsex.
I give a player a temporary permission for six hours, however when the player logs out, the permission goes.
Is there a way to fix this?

Here is the fix:
Bag PEX for LuckPerms.

ahh im so used to permissionsex tho - ik other servers have timed permissions so i dont see why it wont work here

Why are you supposed to use PEX?
Is it a dependency?

No i just use it because im used to it
