Hello All,

The fact you cannot delete your personal data from the site baffles me. Implementing a delete account procedure would enable users to trust the platform.

If a user loses their credentials and or email address, creating a new account is the best way forward. If you ever create a new account the old one will be banned & a warning will be given to the new account due to the site's policy. This is asinine and should be re-evaluated.

I think you possibly misunderstand? Personal data can be deleted from the site, we are more than willing to delete it for you if you yourself are unable. Accounts as a whole, however, are unable to be deleted. We are more than willing to make the account as "anonymous" as possible for you though, such as changing the name to your user identifier.

If a user loses credentials or access to their email address, they are more than able to create a ticket as a guest, which a lot of users do. From there we can verify they own the account and switch around their email or whatever else they need. Simply creating a new account would destroy the feedback and reputation that you hold within the community, and that can (in some cases) pose a bit of a problem for some members who have others blocked, chose not to deal with, or otherwise avoid.

Data:
I still think you should consider an option to manually remove personal data.

Policy:
Those who do not know how to create a ticket will still be punished therefore I find this to be a flawed policy, however I do believe there are multiple ways to prevent unfair punishment.

1. Have an option for users who have lost email under forgot password.
2. Add an input field to the signup form to confirm their sign up reason.
3. Have a bot message the new user when they sign up to confirm if they need immediate support.

This mod & developer a tad bit short sighted....
