Photoshop Help

Hey, I'm just wondering if there's any way I can mimic Sketch's background blur feature https://www.sketchapp.com/docs/styling/blur/ but in Photoshop.

Hey, so I just need a little help with something in Photoshop.

So what I'm trying to do is have blurred boxes like from the image shown above. However, I would like to be able to style these boxes like add a gradient on top of the blur, etc.

This is what I'm trying to do, however, this was done with Sketch.

I'm happy to pay a few $s if someone can show me how to do this in Photoshop, thanks.
